A Three-Second Test Clip From July 2017 (No Keto Content)
What this is
This is a three-second phone clip recorded on 19 July 2017. There's no speech in it, so the machine transcript is empty. It isn't a lesson or a Live. It's the kind of clip you get when you tap record to check framing, sound or light, and stop straight away.
It's listed here because I'm writing one post for every recording in the KetoDick archive, including the ones with nothing in them. That way the list is complete, and nobody has to wonder whether a missing file held something important. This one didn't.
Why July 2017 matters
The date does matter, though. It's from the same day as a one-minute clip I recorded on how to read ketone strips, and from about five weeks after I started keto in mid-June that year (video cTGYIFOTPl8). Within two weeks of this date I was uploading a run of longer question-and-answer videos to YouTube.
There's a second clip from the same day that's also silent: a two-second test clip.
What to watch instead
If you landed here looking for my early keto advice, these are the recordings worth your time:
- How to read ketone strips in one minute, recorded the same day.
- Beginner keto questions answered: keto is low carb, not high fat, the long Q&A where I give my start date.
- The scale, fat adaptation, sweeteners, alcohol and ketone strips, another beginner Q&A from that summer.
- Three ways to test for ketosis, the fuller version of the strip clip.
- My first update after 28 days of keto.
Key points
- Three seconds, no speech, no keto content. A camera test.
- Recorded 19 July 2017, the same day as the ketone-strip clip.
- Listed so the archive is complete, not because there's anything to watch.
